Parmason - Grated Nut Cheese

The Parmason is our vegan and cruelty-free version of the so-called "King of Cheeses" the Parmigiano Reggiano. It is obtained by grating organic raw almonds, mixing them with nutritional yeast and sea salt, before de-hydrating and air ageing for up to 10 days total. The result is a robust and tangy umami flavour.

Our grated Almond Parmason bears the same fluffy texture as its dairy counterpart as well as its fruity, nutty and savoury taste. The Parmason can be sprinkled over pasta and salads or stirred into soups and risottos just to mention a few suggestions.

Ingredients: Organic raw and activated almond nuts, nutritional yeast, sea salt.

Shelf life: 1 month in the refrigerator, 3 months in the freezer
